Overseas Clan Grant Societies in Australia and New Zealand were formed in the early 1980s. After a period in decline, the Australian Society has recently been revived.
The Clan Grant Society of the USA was founded in 1977 and is still going from strength to strength. The late Sir Patrick Grant of Grant, Lord Strathspey, the 32nd Clan Chief, took much pleasure in attending Clan Gatherings in the US and Canada, where the Clan Grant Society is also enjoying a resurgence of interest and membership is increasing.
